Native American Wolf Pipe

The total length of this ceremonial Wolf Effigy Pipe is 23" long. It is made out of Sacred Catlinite, which is commonly referred to, by many people, as Pipestone. Catlinite has been used for centuries by Native Americans to make important ceremonial pipes and other items. It is a red stone that is believed to have originated from the blood of Native American ancestors.

The pipe bowl measures 5-1/2" long and it is 3" tall. As you can see on the photo's it is nice and dark red over virtually all of the pipe. There are also a few of the attractive spots or "stars" in the pipe, as well as a single area near the bottom square part of the bowl that is a lighter orangeish color. The unique markings make this a true one-of-a-kind ceremonial pipe.

This Pipe will make a great ceremonial Pipe for someone. It is crafted and signed by Hapan. The stem has excellent draw and the bowl is drilled out to allow for plenty of tobacco. This would make a great gift to a person who feels a special connection with the bear.

This pipe is signed by Hapan. The stem is made out of California Redwood. It is designed in a classic diamond shape. This was frequently done many years ago. It is decorated quite simply with a few feathers that are suspended from the stem using a piece of deer leather & a couple of antique looking tin cones.
