The total length of this Eagle Claw Pipe is 21-3/4" long. It is made out of Sacred Catlinite, which is commonly referred to by many as pipestone. Catlinite has been used for centuries by Native Americans to make ceremonial pipes and other items. It is a red stone that is believed to have originated from the blood of Native American ancestors.

The pipe bowl measures 4-3/16" long and is 2-1/4" tall. The claws or talons on the pipe are very intricately carved in a "relief" style. This really adds to the beauty and the "real" look of this pipe.

The swirled Catlinite stem was created using a piece of stone off of the same slab that the pipe bowl was made from. This stem measures 15-1/4" long and has a 2" mouthpiece that was made from part of a deer antler.

The Eagle Claw pipe is representative of the mother eagle protecting the egg. The egg represents the re-creation of life. This is a never-ending cycle.
