23" Rare Leopard Colored Ceremonial 4-Winds Pipe

The total length of this large ceremonial pipe is 23-3/8" long. The pipe bowl is crafted out of some rare leopard colored stone that we traded for a couple of summers ago.

This large ceremonial 4-winds bowl measures 6" long and it is 3-1/2" tall. This is a traditional 4-winds pipe created out of a not-so-traditional type of stone.

This type of stone is softer than what we usually use for ceremonial pipes, so if the eventual caretaker of this pipe intends to use it for ceremony, it should be treated with great care. This type of stone will scratch easier than most.

The rings and designs on this pipe were put on the pipe bowl after the pipe had been waxed. That allows you to see the natural color of the stone and provides for a nice contrast in the stone. It's a very attractive and unusual colored ceremonial pipe.

The pipe is signed by "Hapan". The stem is made out of California Redwood. It is beaded in traditional Sioux style using the beads that are the color of the 4-directions. It also has some nice soft deer leather fringes.
