The total length of this beautiful ceremonial eagle claw pipe is 18" long. It is made out of Sacred Catlinite or what is called Pipestone by many people. This is a type of stone that has been quarried for centuries and made into ceremonial pipes by Native Americans. Catlinite is believed by many to be the blood of their Native American ancestors. The stone originates from Pipestone, Minnesota.

The large pipe bowl measures 3-3/4" long and it is just a hair over 2" tall. This is a nice sized pipe and the bowl on it has been drilled so that plenty of tobacco will fit in it. It will make an excellent ceremonial pipe for someone. It's also a very attractive pipe. As you can see much attention was given to detail. The stone used was a deep dark red with many very small spots or "stars".

The Eagle Claw pipe is representative of the mother eagle protecting the egg. The egg represents the re-creation of life. This is a never-ending cycle.
