The total length of this pipe is 23-1/4" long. The Catlinite (commonly called Pipestone) bowl measures a hair over 6" long by 3-3/8" tall. This is a traditional plains style pipe. It is a hand-crafted piece, made out of a very attractive and somewhat unusual piece of stone. It is a deep red color over the entire one side of the pipe, while the other side has a lighter orangeish color over part of it. It also has that lighter color right at the very front of the bowl. This side of the pipe also has quite a few small spots or "stars" on it. The very unique marks on this pipe bowl will set it apart from all others.

This Pipe would make a great ceremonial Pipe or personal pipe for prayer. The stem has good draw and the bowl is drilled out to allow plenty of room to pack it if the buyer intends to use it for ceremony.
