Plains, T, Pipe Native American Ceremonial Plains Pipes - Native American Ceremonial Plains Pipes
8" Black Pipestone Plains Pipe
$45.00

The total length of this steatite personal plains pipe is 8" long. Steatite or Black Pipestone as it is often referred to, is a type of stone that has been used by Native Americans for ceremonial pipes for 1000's of years. Steatite pipes were most common among the Eastern tribes. Occasionally though, through trades this stone found it's way all the way to the Plains tribes and West Coast.

This Plains style bowl measures 2-3/83" long and is 1-5/8" tall. This is a nice small, traditional, personal plains style pipe.

The pipe is signed by "Hapan". The stem is made out of California Redwood. It is decorated with some traditional Sioux beadwork and leather fringes.

The pipe is fully functional and will make a great little personal pipe for prayer.

If you are interested in this pipe, or have any questions about it, and would like to see additional pictures, i.e. one that includes a full shot of the stem and bowl, the other side of the pipe, etc..., please email us or give us a call.

Shipping for this item to anywhere in the U.S. is $8.00
