This is a cedar feather box that my father made several years ago. If you enlarge the picture, you probably can see that the box opens and closes, simply by sliding the top to one side. The inside of the box is lined with the very aromatic red cedar. When you open the box, you instantly are hit with the wonderful aroma of cedar.

The inside of the box measures 15-1/2" x 3-1/2" wide & 2-1/2" deep.... so you'll be able to fit a nice sized feather(or feathers) in it. (or feathers)
