This is part of a collection of gorgets that we traded for just this past summer.

The gorgets are expertly crafted in the same way that their ancient counterparts were, but I believe that these are modern made gorgets. They are simply in too good of shape to be ancient in my opinion.

We have put a strip of leather & a single brass bead on them to decorate them.

This particular gorget is quite large and measures 4-1/16" long and is 1-13/16 wide at the widest point. It is a very uniform 5/16" thick throughout.

It appears to be made out of green banded slate.
