Plains, T, Pipe Native American Ceremonial Plains Pipes - Native American Ceremonial Plains Pipes
23-3/8" Ceremonial Plains Pipe
$125.00

The total length of this pipe is 23-3/8" long. The Catlinite (commonly called Pipestone) bowl measures 5-7/8" long and it is 3-1/2" tall. This is a traditional plains style pipe. Notice the "square shank" where the stem will be inserted. This was commonly done by pipemakers years ago. The pipe is a hand-crafted piece, made out of a very attractive piece of exceptionally spotted pipestone. The entire pipe is a deep dark red color with 100's & possibly 1000's of small spots or "stars" in it. Spotted stone like this is some of the hardest to find and some of the most desirable stone in the world.

This Pipe would make a great ceremonial Pipe for someone. The stem has excellent draw and the bowl is drilled out to allow plenty of room to pack tobacco into it if the buyer intends to use it for ceremony.

This pipe is signed by Hapan. The stem is made out of California redwood. It is decorated with traditional Sioux beadwork and deer leather fringes.
