Plains, T, Pipe Native American Ceremonial Plains Pipes - Native American Ceremonial Plains Pipes
15-1/2" Plains Pipe w/ Square Shank
$85.00

The total length of this pipe is 15-1/2" long. The Catlinite (commonly called Pipestone) bowl measures 4-1/16" long and it is 2-3/8" tall. This is a traditional plains style pipe. It is a hand-crafted piece, made out of a very nice red piece of Sacred Pipestone. It also has just a few spots or "stars" on it. At the very top of the bowl on the side that is not pictured, there's a little lighter color also. It makes for a very attractive pipe bowl. As you can see on the photo, the pipe has a "square shank" where the stem is inserted. This is a practice that was commonly done years ago by pipemakers and it's something we still like to occasionally do.

This Pipe would make a great ceremonial Pipe or personal pipe for prayer. The stem has good draw and the bowl is drilled out to allow plenty of room to pack it, if the buyer intends to use it for ceremony. The overall size of the pipe and stem would allow it to be comfortably used as either a personal pipe or ceremonial pipe. It's not "too big" and it's not "too small".

This pipe is signed by Hapan. The stem is made out of California redwood. It is decorated with traditional Sioux beadwork.

If you are interested in a pipe and stem like this one, and you have a questions or two you'd like to ask before purchasing it, please email us or give us a call.

Shipping for this item to anywhere in the U.S. is $9.00
