Native American Ceremonial Plains Pipes |
The total length of this pipe is only 4-13/16" long. This is the smallest type of plains pipe that we make. The Catlinite (commonly called Pipestone) bowl measures 1-5/8" long by 1-3/16" tall. This is fashioned after a traditional plains style pipe. It is a hand-crafted piece, made out of a beautiful piece of very dark red pipestone.
This Pipe is fully functional, but because of its' size probably will not make that great of a ceremonial or personal pipe. It could be used as a personal pipe, but because it's so small, it will take a little getting used to. The stem has OK draw in case the eventual owner of this pipe decides to use it for prayer or ceremony.
This pipe is signed by "Hapan". The stem is made out of California redwood. It is not decorated in any way. It has just been burned slightly to add to the beauty of the piece.
