4-Winds Native American Ceremonial 4 Winds Pipes - Traditional 4-Winds Pipes (T-pipes)
$55.00

The total length of this steatite personal 4-Winds pipe is 8" long. Steatite or Black Pipestone as it is often referred to, is a type of stone that has been used by Native Americans for ceremonial pipes for 1000's of years. Steatite pipes were most common among the Eastern tribes. Occasionally though, through trades this stone found it's way all the way to the Plains tribes and West Coast.

This 4-winds bowl measures 2-3/8" long and is 1-3/4" tall. This is a nice small, traditional, personal 4-winds pipe.

The rings and designs on this pipe were put on the pipe bowl after the pipe had been waxed. That allows you to see the natural color of the stone and provides for a nice contrast in the stone.

The pipe is signed by "Hapan". The stem is made out of California Redwood. It is decorated with deer leather fringes and beaded in traditional Sioux style.

The pipe is fully functional and will make a great personal pipe for prayer.

If you are interested in this pipe, or have any questions about it, and would like to see additional pictures, i.e. one that includes a full shot of the stem and bowl, the other side of the pipe, etc..., please email us or give us a call.

Shipping for this item to anywhere in the U.S. is $8.00
