What you see on the pictures is some nicotiana rustica that has been properly dried. This is Wild or Sacred Tobacco and was often used in years past (and still is today) for ceremonial purposes.
This type of tobacco has the highest nicotine content of any tobacco and it works great to use as a base for your kinni-kinnick mixture. It is also a great tobacco to use without mixing anything else with it.
The germination rate for these seeds is nearly 100%. The 100 seeds that we send out are off of our very best plants. This type of tobacco plant when grown under the right conditions will reach nearly 4 to 5 feet tall and have many beautiful yellow flowers. Some people grow this simply for the attractive flowers. We noticed last year in our little patch that it attracted quite a few hummingbirds.
