Turkey Wing Fan Native American Gifts - Native American Crafts & Trade Items
$125.00

This is something I got my hands on just this past summer. It is origally from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. I got it from a local person who had moved here from the Black Hills. If I recall correctly she acquired this herself at Pine Ridge.

It's basically a purse or bag made out of a turtle shell and the head of a coyote or brush wolf pelt. The turtle shell measures app 12 inches across. There's an acorn attached to the turtle shell which is used to open and close the bag.(using some leather strips laced through the eyes of the brush wolf. The bag/purse has about a 40" strap on it with long leather fringes hanging down from the end. This leather looks to be quite old and is a little distressed.

This is another very unique item that would add decor to any room with a Native American theme.

The bag is functional and could also be worn with your regalia.

Shipping for this item is $13.00
