This is a very light (almost white) piece of brain tanned leather.

We traded for this about 2 years ago.

If you are wanting to make something a little extra special, this is the type of leather you want to use. It is so soft and smells so good, you can immediately tell that it is not the same as commercially tanned leather.

This piece is a little bit more than 2 square feet and would work great for a small pipebag, decoration on pipe stems, or for many small medicine pouches. Your needle will go through this leather much easier also than commercially tanned leather.
